About Us
Frederika First Responders play a crucial role in ensuring successful emergency outcomes. They serve Frederika and the surrounding areas, working in conjunction with Tripoli Ambulance for transport services. Their primary focus is to arrive at the scene swiftly, provide life-saving assistance, and stabilize patients. Equipped with AEDs and other essential tools, they are prepared to achieve positive results. Additionally, Frederika has a LUCAS device that aids in CPR by automatically performing chest compressions. These First Responders are affiliated with Tripoli Ambulance, and their EMT members are trained to provide care during ambulance transport.
Support the Frederika First Responders
Frederika First Responders are neighbors helping neighbors. Our all-volunteer team dedicates hundreds of hours each year to emergency calls, training, meetings, and community events. With minimal financial support—just a small allocation from the county and insurance coverage from the City of Frederika — we rely heavily on donations, fundraisers, and grants to sustain our lifesaving mission.
Right now, we urgently need both volunteers and new defibrillators (AEDs). Two of our AEDs had to be retired because replacement pads and batteries are no longer available. A new defibrillator costs more than $2,500—and without them, our ability to save lives is compromised.
Every dollar helps. If you’re able to contribute, please consider sending a donation by mail to:
